As new empty nesters, these homeowners were ready to revamp their traditional residence to better fit their next chapter of life. JDesign Co. was tasked with remodeling five different rooms in the home, including the three bedrooms of their now-grown children, the primary suite, and the home office. We worked with the homeowners to transform the three unused kids’ rooms into a new guest room, a nursery, and room for growing grandkids, giving each new space fresh function and style. For the office and primary suite, we focused more on freshening up the existing design with welcome updates, while maintaining the classic style of the rest of the home. We married the new with the old by incorporating traditional furniture pieces, antique family heirlooms, timeless colors and textures, and custom paneling and molding throughout the design, which all worked together beautifully into the perfect update to their beloved family home.
